49 -- TRANSMISSION TEST STAND SOL TRANSM-TEST-STND POC Contract Specialist Paul Avery (502) 624-8069 (Site Code DABT23) The G4/Directorate of Logistics at Fort Knox, Kentucky is seeking sources for a transmission test machine capable of testing transmissions of various configurations, for both track and wheel vehicles. Test machine shall consist of a power unit and dynamometer unit and be constructed in such a manner as to allow remote location of the power unit. The machine shall be capable of testing commonly used vehicular transmissions, including (cross- drive" transmissions. The dynamometer unit shall be equipped with side base extensions and dual power absorbtion units (load units) to accomodate "cross-drive" transmissions. Load units shall be equal in all respects and independently controlled. Also seeking information on available provisions for possible leasing or lease with option to buy.
