This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and therefore, a formal, written solicitation will not be issued. JJ-7345-8609 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-03. The Television-Audio support Activity intends to purchase the following: one (1) ea Upgrade Media Composer Class 'A' Upgrade from MC1000 w/3D (NUBUS) to MC1000 PCI w/3D; includes: one (1) ea Power Macintosh 9600/233MHZ, 96MB expandable to 768MB, 512K L2 Cache, one (1) ea 4MB Apple Superdrive, 12X CD-ROM, 6PCI Slots, Ethernet AAUI, high speed SCSI, one (1) ea Apple Desktop BUS, 2 serial/GEO ports, 16-Bit stereo sound, system 7.5, 4GB SCSI hard drive system disk, Graphics Accelerator Card w/2MB VRAM, Desktop ADB Mouse II, and six outlet surge; one (1) EA 64MB RAM kit for Power PC 9600; and two (2) ea AVID Desktop Fieldpak Adaptors; configuration of MC1000 system. Contractor shall deliver and perform on-site installation at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. PWR RQMTS for computer: 100-125/200-240VAC, RMS single phase, automatically configured, 50/60HZ. Standard commercial warranty required. The Upgrade Media Composer will be used by Schofield Barracks, HI. Deliver and install Upgrade FOB destination within 60 days from date of contract award.
