The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), Edinburg, TX intends to acquire 22,250 Gypsy Moth DDVP Pest Dispensers. A first article sample is required 10 days after contract award, with the first article sample produced at the same facility as the production quantity. This is a synopsis for request for proposal for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR 15. This procurement will be awarded as a fixed price contract, FOB destination. It is anticipated that a single award will be made but multiple awards will be made if necessary to procure the total quantity. Delivery shall be made by February 27, 1998. The copy of the solicitation, 39-M-APHIS-98, is to be released on or about January 12, 1998.
