INFORMATION: Expected project activities would involve the review and
technical analysis of design parameters and computations of the static
and dynamic forces affecting massive concrete hydraulic structures
founded on soil or piles and the analysis of steel structure systems
due to flow induced vibrations. Model to prototype correlation, site
visits, and preparation of activity reports/supporting documents may
also be required. Completion of static and dynamic analysis and design
of massive concrete hydraulic structures founded on rock as well as
that of hydraulic steel structures may also be required. 3. SELECTION

hydraulic structures (locks, dam, approach walls, silling basins, etc.)
founded on soil and/or pile foundations and rock foundations; seismic
analysis of soil-pile-fluid- structure interaction along with knowledge
and experience of earthquake ground motion and the application to the
design of hydraulic structures, knowledge and experience relating to
vibration (including flow induced vibrations) measurements and analysis
of model test results and prototype predictiveness relating to large
water control structural steel gates; static and dynamic finite element
analysis and design ofhydraulic steel structures; and knowledge of
finite element correlation and familiarity with dynamic analysis
applications of soil structure interaction using programs such as
SASSI, FLUSH, etc. c. Capacity to complete the work in the required
