MMA is a potential replacement for several US Navy land based aircraft including the P-3, EP-3, E-6, and C-130. Initial studies sponsored by N880E1 are underway. The Government will give an unclassified briefing on its plans for the MMA on 27 January 1998 (Tuesday) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station, MD. The briefing is "by invitation only". All qualified parties interested in attending must request an invitation via Fax at (301) 342-8367 by COB 16 January 1998. Fax should include company name, reason for attendance, list of attendees, and point of contact with phone number. Invitation confirmation will occur by 20 January 1998.
