This action is taken to comply with FAR Part 12 Commercial Items. The Government is performing a market survey to determine potential vendor interest/capability in providing these services/commodities at some point in the near future. Consequently, in addition to providing information/technical literature/commercial contracts terms and conditions/ statements of work interested vendors are requested to respond to this request in writing by providing a Capability Statement which includes the following information for government evaluation purposes only. A brief description of the company including business size (large, small, small disadvantaged, 8 (a), or women owned business concern), history, and description of primary supplies and services provided to either the government or general public. Include past and present information relating to similar supplies/services provided to either government and/or commercial customers. The acquisition will likely be conducted as a small business set aside as required by regulation. Interested parties may provide any of the aforementioned data. Vendors may include any other information deemed relevant to the government in completing this market survey and assessment of their capabilities. The capability statement should include a point of contact, address (including ZIP PLUS FOUR), telephone number, and facsimile number. Information is requested by 25 Jan 98.
