materials, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to
remove one -- 2,000 gallon single wall, steel, underground, diesel
storage tank; one -- 1,000 gallon, single wall, fiberglass, underground
gasoline storage tank and associated double wall piping (approx 200 LF)
and dispensers (2); reinstalling the existing dispensers (2); and
installing one new 3,000 gallon double wall, fiberglass, underground
diesel storage tank, one new 1,000 gallon double wall, fiberglass,
underground, gasoline storage tank and associated piping (approximately
200 LF) and leak detection equipment and incidental related work at
USCG Group Woods Hole, MA (Barnstable County). Contractor shall provide
pricing per cubic yard for excavation and disposal of petroleum
contaminated soil and replacing it with appropriate fill material.
Contractor is responsible for obtaining permits to install and remove
the underground tanks. Estimated cost of this project is between
$25,000 and $100,000. SIC code is 1542. Performance time is 60 calendar
days. 14 days on site time. All work must be completed by May 15, 1998.

Business Utilization (OSDBU) has programs to assist minority,
women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire
short-term working capital and bonding assistance for
transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible
prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program
enables firms to apply for bid, payment and performance bonds up to
$1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond
amount to a surety against losses. Loans are available under the DOT
Short-term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide
accounts receivable financing. The max. line of credit is $500,000. For
