The U.S. Army TACOM/ARDEC is seeking qualified small business firms who can respond to a request for proposal to manufacture and deliver approximately 75,000 each M795 HE Projectile Lift Plugs and gaskets. An option for approximately 75,000 each M795 HE Projectile Lift Plugs and gaskets will also be part of the upcoming requirement. Each Lift Plug is to be made from malleable iron, has an eye hook for lifting and is threaded for attachment to the top of a 155MM M795 Projectile. The gaskets act as a seal between the lift plug and the shell and provides for easy removal. The Government does not intend to facilitize prospective offerors. Any offeror will be required to self facilitize at their own expense. Interested manufacturers are requested to submit a capabilities statement by Electronic Commerce (EC) to swagner@pica.army.mil which should address, at a minimum, the items delineated under the numbered note indicated below.
