A -- CONSOLIDATED AUTOMATED SUPPORT SYSTEM (CASS) TEST PROGRAM SETS DEVELOPMENT FOR V-22 SOL N68335-98-R-0075 DUE 033098 POC Joyce Reidinger, Code 2131JR, 732-323-2148 The Navy intends to procure Consolidated Automated System (CASS) Test Program Set (TPS) development for V-22 Weapon Replaceable Assemblies (WRA) and Shop Replaceable Assembly (SRA). The U.S. Navy intends to negotiate a sole source contract with the Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Patuxent River,Maryland. This requirement is for development of SRA and WRAs to be integrated with peculiar support equipment for which the US Navy does not own the specifications, drawings, and related data to permit full and open competition. Items covered by this procurement include approximately one (1) SRA and twenty-three (23) WRAs First Article Test Units and engineering and manufacturing development units. Issuance of the solicitation is projected by March 1998 or sooner with a closing date approximately thirty (30) days thereafter. The US Navy is anticipating a Cost Plus Fixed Fee type contract.
