SEMINAR ON CONTRACTING FROM COMPUTER TO COMPUTER The Missour Procurement Assistance Centers (MO PAC), in conjunction with the Orange, Texas Electronic Commerce Resource Center (ECRC), will be conducting a series of seminars on electronic commerce (EC)/electronic data interchange (EDI) in Missouri. Seminars will be held on January 20, 1998 in Kansas City, January 21, 1998 in Columbia, and January 22,1998 in St. Louis, and last from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Topics include EDI Orientation, Business Opportunities with tthe Department of Defense (DoD) Using EDI (Getting a Piece of the Action), and Marketing on the Internet. Companies will also be able to register with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Current federal government policy states effective April 1, 1998, that all companies doing business with the federal government must be registered in CCR. The registration fee (which includes lunch) is $30 in Kansas City, and $25 in Columbia and St. Louis.
