to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for One (1) each Termal Vacuum
Chamber System. An oi-free, completely integrated thermal vaccum
chamber system shall meet the following specification (a more detailed
list of specifications and deliverables will be made available with
the RFQ package): (1) minimum pressure of 1 x 10-6 Torr or less; (2)
horizontal water-cooled, stainless steel (304SS) chamber 24" diameter
x 30" long with front door; (3) Viton O-ring to seal door; (4) Optical
port with 4" minimum field of view. Minimal reflection at 1064 nm and
532 nm.; (5) cyro pump with 10" ID ANSI flange and digital temperature
monitor. Water cooled compressor; (6) Oil free roughing pump capable of
12 CFM dual pumping. <50m Torr ultimate pressure. Double sealed .05
HP motor; (7) 20 x 10" temperature controlled plate (hot plate) or
tray for bake-out of components up to 250 degrees C. This place shall
also act as a shelf to hold the laser system so that the exiting beam
is centered on the optical port; (8) No back streaming of the molecular
materials to the chamber; (9) No vibration during pointing/receiving
testing of the laser (approx. 5-10 minutes) while under vacuum; (10)
external heating elements necessary for baking out chamber walls to 300
degrees C. This vacuum chamber system shall be delivered to the Meyers
Building, College Park, MD 20740; no later than 15 weeks after award
of order. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified
