White, Contracting Officer, cwhite@do.usbr.gov. 17. The Bureau of Reclamation, Denver, Colorado, has a requirement for the following laboratory total organic halogen analyzer. The unit must be capable of analyzing samples per EPA Methods 450.1, 1650, 9020, 9021, 9023, 9076, and Standard Methods 5320 for Total Organic Halide, Purgeable Organic Halide, Extractable Organic Halide and Total Halide. It must employ microcoulometric titration technology capable of determining the compounds classified under 40 CFR 265.92 for drinking water, wastewater, and groundwater. The instrument must be operable with or without a computer. It is Reclamation's belief that the TOX-10 Sigma Total Organic Halogen Analyzer, distributed solely by COSA Instrument Corporation, Norwood, New Jersey, is the only analytical instrument that can perform the necessary specific requirements, and anticipates awarding a sole source contract with the referenced company. The total requirement package needed, also includes an adsorption module and optional automatic boat controller. Start-up training, installation, one year parts and warranty, and FOB Destination is required.
