McCloskey (410) 293-3520/Fax (410) 293-5293 the United States Naval Academy intends to purchase Novell Software Connection Library Master Disks and a Novell site license (new nodes) Educational Master License Agreement for the following: Network Products -- IntranetWare, NetWare 3.12, LAN Workgroup, LAN WorkPlace PRO, NetWare IP, NetWare Webserver and ManageWise and GroupWare Products -- GroupWise Mailbox which contains Client/Admin Multi-Lingual, Multi-Platform, Client/Admin Unix, Message Server for DOS, Message Server for NLM, Message Server for OS/2, Message Server for Unix, List Server, Async Gateway NLM and OS/2, API Gateway NLM, DOS, and OS/2, x.25 Gateway, GroupWise SMTP/MIME Gateway, MHS Gateway and GroupWise Web Access. It is the intention of the Government to award a contract on a sole source basis to Novell, 2323 Horsepen Road, Suite 600, Herndon, VA 20171 pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. However, all proposals received within thirty days of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
