This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ) Reference Number 100-003-8. The solicitation document and incorporated clauses provision are those in effect through the latest edition of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The bidder will provide equipment to Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Butner, NC; FCI Oakdale, LA; FCI Greenville, IL; United States Penitentiary (USP) Marion, IL; USP Lewisburg, PA; Federal Correctional Center Allenwood, PA. Delivery and initial start-up of equipment will be made by the contractor. Additional piping, electrical wiring and renovation work associated with installation will be performed by the Bureau of Prisons. All equipment will be installed by the Bureau of Prisons. Materials: 16 gauge, type 304 stainless steel, bright finish; Electrical: (2) motors, 230 VAC 60 HZ, 120 Watts (.5 amps), (2) heater 230 VAC 60 HZ PH. 2880w (12.5 amps). 3000 Watts (13 amps) total. Dual pumps; Maximum Inlet Flow Rate: 1500 gallons per minute. Grease skimming rate: 9900 pounds per day. Solids Removal Rate: 1500 pounds per day.
