THIS REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number is USSS980009. This acquisition is set-aside for small business and the associated standard industrial classification (SIC) code is 7377, the small business size standard is $18.0 million. It is mandatory that each proposal include pricing for options: (1) 24 month lease, (2) 36 month lease; and (3) purchase.Delivery of this equipment to the Government shall be no later than March 1, 1998. Delivery shall be required to the US Secret Service offices located at 1800 G Street, NW, Washington, DC. The Government anticipates moving the equipment to a new Headquarters located in the Washington, DC at its own expense. All equipment provided under this solicitation must be new. USED or RE-FURBISHED equipment will NOT be acceptable to the Government. US Secret Service will accept responsibility for maintaining all equipment. The Government will accept responsibility for ensuring the equipment is in proper working order once it has been delivered by the contractor. Each offerors proposal shall address all terms and conditions of their leasing options. The Government requires that the one-year warranty provision on the equipment be passed onto the Government.
