Vessel availability schedule is to be defined separetely for each vessel. The performance period for each vessel will depend on work being performed and defined in the delivery order issued to perform the work. The place of performance will be at the cutters' hompiers. The contract will consist of One (1) base year and Four (4), one year options, to be exercised at the Governments discretion. There will be a non-refundable charge of $300.00 in for form of a certified check or money order made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. Orders must be placed within ten (10) days of solicitation issuance. The proposed contract listed here is set aside for Small Businesses in the 8(a) Minority Business Program SIC 3731. Plans and specifications will be issued on or about March 30, 1998 from our office location, Commander (vpl-1) Maintenance & Logistics Command, Atlantic, 300 East Main Street, Suite 600, Norfolk, VA 23510-9102. This notice is for information purposes for minority, women-owned and disadvantaged Small and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Utilization (OSDBU), has program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts.
