Brown, Contracting Officer, (202) 324-2458 The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a need to renovate existing building space into occupyable office space in the Isabel II Building, No. 37 Mayor Street, Ponce, Puerto Rico 00731. Construction shall include, but is not limited to: architectural, mechanical, and electrical work to provide office space on the third and fourth levels of the Isabel II Building, and provide an emergency generator on the adjacent parking garage upper level. Estimated cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Detailed requirements and specifications are included in the Solicitation. Release date for the Solicitation is January 20, 1998. The Solicitation shall be available by mail request only at a cost of $200 per set, with a limit of two (2) sets per requesting firm. Payment Bond is required if subcontractors are used on this project. Insurance is required. Access to the job site shall be limited to U.S. Citizens ONLY. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this project is 1542. Note that this project is a 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside. The Small Business Size Standard is $17.0 million.
