The contractor shall be responsible for site utilities, building construction, plumbing, mechanical, electrical power, lighting, fire protection, and security systems. Construction shall be in strict compliance with the requirements of Director of Central Intelligence Directive 1/21 (DCID 1/21). Each individual project is more specifically described as follows: LSGA97-2001, Add/Alter Building 5 for Operations: Work includes construction of an approximately 2,277 square foot new building addition and adjacent interior alterations of approximately 1,065 square feet. Also included is demolition and reconstruction of an approximately 144 square foot compressor equipment shed attached to Building 1 and relocation of associated equipment. LSGA97-2002, Alter Building 5 for Operations (former ACMI area): Work includes interior alterations of approximately 1,471 square feet to convert existing operations briefing room and adjacent areas to administrative office spaces. LSGA97-2003, Alter Missile Maintenance Bay, Building 35: Work includes interior construction and alterations to approximately 360 square feet of maintenance bay area to provide enclosed secure operations area. It is the purpose and intent of this contract for the contractor to furnish all labor, material, equipment, transportation, supervision, management, and administration required to construct and provide the above described projects complete and ready for use. Project is located at the Florida Air National Guard Base, Jacksonville, Fl. Estimated magnitude of construction is $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. The Standard Identification Code (SIC) is 1542. The size standard is $17 million. This procurement will be bid as unrestricted and open to both large and small business participation with a single award as a firm fixed price contract.
