Service, in Phoenix, Arizona, has a requirement for 258 units of either
2" or 3" Ball or Butterfly valves and pneumatic actuators. Valves:
either Ball or Butterfly, will conduct CO2-enriched air at close to
ambient temperatures and at 6" of H2O head pressure. 1/2 of valves are
to be normal open, the other 1/2 normal closed. Valves are to seal
bubble tight at line pressure of up to at least 10 psi. Actuators:
pneumatic, spring return, actuated with no more than 80 psi of
compressed air or pure CO2 gas. The valves and actuators shall be made
with materials and coatings compatible with their being used outdoors,
with no other protection. They will be subjected to temperatures
ranging from -10 degrees F to 130 degrees F, and exposed to rain and
dust. Connections: valves shall be compatible with either threaded or
flanged fittings on 3" PVC pipe. Pneumatic actuators shall be provided
with threaded ports for connecting air lines. Request for Quotation
