The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command intends to procure additional sets of initial peculiar spares and additional spare and repair parts to support the Sentinel fielding requirements. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, intended source is Hughes Aircraft Company, El Segundo, CA as HAC designed, developed and is the current manufacturer of the Sentinel system. The government does not own the technical data package or the software documentation and without the knowledge of the system specific hardware and software, the fielding requirements cannot be met.
