Cincinnati, OH 45268 66 -- UPGRADE TO TSQ MASS SPECTROMETER SOL RFQ-51K057-58 DUE 012398
POC Deanna Easley (513-487-2027) WEB: Office of Acquisition Management
-- Cincinati Contracts Management Division,
http://www.epa.gov/oam/cinn_cmd. E-MAIL: U.S. EPA -- Cincinnati
Contracts Management Division, easley.deanna@epamail.epa.gov. The US
EPA, Cincinnati, OH facility, requires an upgrade to an existing
Finnigan TSQ 70 mass spectometer to provide more complete and detailed
analytical capabilities relevant to research experiments on drinking
water treatment technologies. This upgrade will convert the
spectrometer to a UNIX based operating environment by upgrading
computer boards and enhance sensitivity with a 20kV dynode along with
providing robust turbo pumping capabilities for LC-ESI experiments. The
Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Finnigan
MAT for a TSQ-70B upgrade to the LC-MS with enhanced Alpha workstation
to include the following items: Conversion Kit (SPCLS-D012B), TPH
Turbo Pump (00108-80100), TCP120 Controller (00108-08021), and 20kV
Dynode (F-050). The electronics and related hardware and software must
be compatible with existing Finnigan TSQ 70 mass spectrometer. Any
firm that feels it can provide equipment which meets the Government's
minimum specifications must provide sufficient documentation within 15
days of publication of this synopsis. (0008) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0308 19980113\66-0001.SOL)
