SINs 657-1 thru 657-7: Each unit shall be tested to the applicable requirements of the American National Standard Test for Lateral Files, X5.2-1989 and the American National Standard Test for Vertical Files, X5.3-1989. Tests are to be conducted by an independent testing laboratory or by an ISO 9000 or ISO Guide 25 certified facility. Effective immediately, this Federal Supply Schedule will no longer have a prescribed beginning and ending date. The schedule period will be continuous, and will contain contracts with contract periods that commence on the date of award (DOA) and expire in five years (exclusion of any options) from the DOA. In addition, Multiple Award Schedule solicitations will become "standing" opportunities for new offers. Unless otherwise noted in the solicitation, new offers may be forwarded at any time. Among the changes since the last issuance of this solicitation are the addition of Option to Extend contracts for an additional 5 years and the Order Limitation clause 52.216-19, which sets forth a dollar/unit limitation to which agencies may place orders and vendors may accept orders under the contract at prices shown without further competition.
