The upgradging shall consist of replacement of five glass viewports, retaining rings and seats etc. with newly fabricated acrlyic windows as well as necessary materials such as blanking discs, retaining rings, and bearing gaskets. Sandblasting and painting as needed. The windows shall be certified according to ASME PVHO-1 paragraph 2-6.1. Chamber #1 was constructed before the ASME Safety Standard for Pressure Vessels used for Human Occupants was enacted in 1977. There are a limited number of Government drawings available. Requests for the solicitation will not be accepted after the date in Item 10 of this notice. Quotations will not be considered after the date inblock 10 of the Request for Quotation.
