R -- MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTION SERVICE SOL RFP 517-09-98 DUE 030398 POC David Kekel, Contracting Officer, 304-255-2121 X4136 Request contractor to furnish all equipment, labor, supervision, and materials to provide professional medical transcription services for the VA Medical Center, Beckley, WV. for the period of 4/1/98 -- 3/31/99 with two (2) renewal option years. Material transcribed will include a high incidence of technical terminology and requires knowledge of a specialized vocabulary of a wide variety of subjects in the field of medicine. All prospective offerors shall have the capability to program their systems to download into the VA Medical Center's VISTA computer system and will be required to provide all necessary equipment at their expense. Contractor will be required to provide, at contractors location, central digital dictation systems accessible via toll-free telephone anywhere within the continental United States. System must be capable of handling a minimum of eight (8) concurrent dictations. Solicitation requires submission of both a technical and cost proposal.
