Dean, Contracting Officer, (301) 443-4460 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ No. F63302) The solicitation clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-01. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 7521. This requirement is set aside for small businesses. The Food and Drug Administration's (FDA's) Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN) located at 1110 Vermont Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C., wishes to lease 31 vehicle spaces, of which four (4) spaces are to be reserved. Self parking shall be on a first come, first serve basis. Elevator parking, and valet parking are both unacceptable, however bumper to bumper parking is acceptable. The facility is to be secure and made available on a twenty four (24) hour basis, 365 days per year. (The parking facility must be located within the following geographical area; M Street, N.W.; L Street, N.W.; 14 Street, N.W.; and 15 Street N.W.). Period of Performance will be for one (1) year beginning March 1, 1998 through February 28, 1999.
