Parent, Contracting Officer, (813)828-3815x346 This procurement is for the construction of 58 Junior Non-commissioned Officer Military Family Housing Units at MacDill AFB, Florida. Work consists of constructing 44 three bedroom units or 22 buildings raised on pilings, 6 three bedroom units or 3 buildings slab on grade. 6 four bedroom units or 3 buildings raised on pilings, 2 four bedroom units or 1 building slab on grade. All buildings mounted on pilings first floor elevations shall be set at 11'-6" above mean sea level. All four buildings slab on grade (handicapped) units shall be handicapped accessible meeting the latest ADA requirements. Building shall be set on concrete pilings, wood frame with exterior finish to be EIFS (stucco) system, shingled roof. Site work: 32 foot wide street with concrete curbs, four foot wide grass strip and four foot wide sidewalk. Handicap ramps provided at street intersections. Tree lined streets along with residential type street lighting. Additional trees and planting at random throughout the site. Storm water control: Construct swales and holding ponds in designated areas, discharging into the existing storm system. Sanitary sewers: Gravity flow laterals and main with pump stations discharging into existing 18" force main. Provide all new electric and water underground utilities. Include two playground areas with playground equipment. Performance period is projected to be 547 calendar days. The project magnitude is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
