The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement for window replacement at its Large Lakes Research Station, 9311 Groh Road, Grosse Ile, Michigan. Work shall include replacing existing exterior aluminum frame windows with energy efficient aluminum frame thermal windows, and replacing vestibule aluminum frame doors and aluminum frame glass walls with insulated aluminum frame doors and windows. A firm-fixed-price contract is contemplated. The anticipated contract performance period is 120 calendar days after contract award. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $150,000. The Invitation for Bids will be issued o/a January 30, 1998, with bids due approximately 30 calendar days after solicitation issuance. There will be no charge for solicitation documents.
