The following is a brief description of the work to be performed: Saw cut and remove asphalt pavement in three areas, remove railroad tracks, including wood ties, excavate existing pavement base material and sub-base as necessary, prepare the sub-base, prime and pave. Work is located at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida. The SIC is 1611. The solicitation package is scheduled to be issued on or about January 23, 1998. A site visit will be held on February 2, 1998 at 10:00 AM. All interested contractors are to meet at Building 103, Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL. Quotes are due by 4:00 PM, February 5, 1998.
