This modification to synopsis is a re-publication due to time elapsed from original synopsis. All other data remains the same as follows: Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) proposes to acquire on an other than full and open competitive basis, the overhaul/repair of the AH-64 Fork Assembly. The proposed contract will be a five year indefinite quantity type contract with a minimum quantity of 20 each to a maximum quantity of 168 each (includes Foreign Military Sales (FMS) quantity of 8 each). Input National Stock Number (NSN): 1615-01-221-2932; Part Number (P/N): 7-1211421008-11. Output NSN/PN will be the same. This acquisition is restricted to McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Systems (MDHS), Mesa, AZ. This is the only contractor who possesses the necessary technical data, skilled personnel, special tooling, and test equipment to overhaul/repair the AH-64 Fork Assembly.
