The Bureau of Reclamation has a requirement for cultural resource studies including archaeological survey, testing, reporting, excavating, and monitoring within the Lower Colorado Region (portions of Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah). The Contractor shall have the capability to perform a large-scale archaeological survey and data recovery program. Services required under this solicitation include: identification, evaluation, management, and, if necessary, mitigation of cultural resources; Class I, II, and III inventories; test excavation; National Register evaluations and nominations; research designs; data recovery and other mitigation measures; laboratory analysis; and report preparation and curation. Proposed contract time is one performance year plus four 1-year option periods. Total contract time is not to exceed five years. Solicitation copies will be available on or about March 1, 1998.
