This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quote (RFQ) = is F6550198QM050. The provisions and clauses incorporated are those in Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46, and it has a standard industrial code (SIC) of 1731. Line Item 0001: Engineer and install EDACS Trunking site to include providing INST-01A install kit, CR-EDCV01 Crossband interface, CI-9800 telephone interface and ED-COMB1 Combiner/Multicoupler. Installation of EDACS Trunking system is to be completed in Ketchikan Alaska, at the National Guard Armory. The location of the installation will be designated by on site Alaska Command (ALCOM) representatives. Installation of accessories = (antennas, etc.) must not result in defacing or drilling of any holes in the = Armory roof. Mounting to the side of the building must be coordinated for approval prior to installation. The contractor will receive, inventory and test all required equipment, at Elmendorf Air Force Base, prior to installation. The contractor will package and ship all required materials and equipment to Ketchikan, AK, National Guard Armory, then receive, inventory, install and test the equipment. Contractor is responsible for all traveling and billeting costs associated with contractor services performed. Line Item 0002: Engineer and install base station, rural telephone link and Public Announcement (PA) system to include providing INST-02A install kit and PA-BC PA system with four (4) speakers at Annette Island, Alaska Road Base Camp area in the location designated by the on site ALCOM representative. The contractor will receive, inventory and test all required equipment, at Elmendorf Air Force Base, prior to installation. The contractor will package and ship all required materials and equipment to Annette Island Base Camp location, then receive, inventory, install and test the Equipment. Contractor is responsible for all traveling and billeting costs associated with contractor services performed. Line Item 0003: Engineer and install base station, rural telephone link and Public Announcement (PA) system to include providing INST-03A install kit and PA-HM PA system with two (2) speakers at Annette Island, Hemlock Bay K-SPAN area in the location designated by the on site ALCOM representative. The contractor will receive, inventory and test all required equipment, at Elmendorf Air Force Base, prior to installation. The contractor will package and ship all required materials and equipment to Annette Island, Hemlock Bay location, then receive, inventory, install and test the Equipment. Contractor is responsible for all traveling and billeting costs associated with contractor services performed. Wage Determination No.: 94-2017 Rev # 12 Applies. Contractor shall comply with applicable codes, manufacture's standards and recommendations, and the requirements stated in the technical provisions. Performance Period: Approximate start date 01 Feb 98, = this is contingent upon he receipt of the required equipment. Qualifications: Contractor shall have prior experience installing this type of EDACS Trunking system. Fire Safety Requirements: Contractor shall comply with all Federal, State and Base fire and safety regulations. Testing & Inspections: Perform all inspections, test parts and systems specified herein, as stated in applicable codes and standards. Contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, material, labor necessary to properly perform the above. All testing and inspection shall be observed by the Contracting Officer or authorized representative.
