R -- BASIC ENGINEERING AND PRODUCTION ENGINEERING SUPPORT SERVICES SOL N00019-98-R-0005 POC Krista Hayden, FAX (301)757-9046/8988 The contractor shall provide both weapon systems engineering and production engineering support services to the Research and Engineering Group and Production Support Department at Naval Aviation Depot, Cherry Point, North Carolina. Specific areas of support will be determined by the responsible department and specified on individual delivery orders. The tasks to be performed include, but are not limited to, design, development, analysis, modeling, etc., of complex systems, subsystems, equipment, components and software to support specific areas within certain programs. In addition to basic engineering, some tasks will involve specific high level engineering services that include Materials, Industrial, Electro-Optics, System Integration, and Avionics Systems engineering support within both departments. This effort contemplates approximately 69,285 staff hours per year, with a one year (firm) base requirement and four one-year options. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code for this acquisition is 8711. This procurement is a 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns whose average annual receipts for the preceding three fiscal years do not exceed $20 million per year.
