Furnish all labor, equipment, management, materials, and transportation required to perform grounds maintenance services for the three cantonment areas of Fort Hood, Texas. Grounds maintenance services include, but are not limited to, grass mowing, shrub trimming and weed removal, chemical and mechanical trimming and edging, maintenance of plant beds, and clean-up in accordance with the terms of the contract. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be a firm fixed price requirements type service contract with the base year anticipated to begin 1 June 1998 and continue through 30 May 1999, with four (4) one-year option periods. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) code for this acquisition is 0782, with a size standard of $5,000,000. Tentative issue date is on or about 9 February 1998. The technical portion of all proposals shall be presented orally, on site, at Fort Hood, Texas, Directorate of Contracting. Presentations of proposals, and any dialogue with offerors, to include any clarifications and/or communications with offerors, is not anticipated to exceed one (1) business day. Videotaped presentations of proposals made by offerors and submitted in lieu of an on-site oral presentation at Fort Hood, Texas at the date and time requested shall not be accepted.
