The notice consisted of two national stock numbers: NSN 5180-00-596-1038 with an estimated two year quantity of 2,872 kits, in accordance with Federal Specifications GGG-C-771D, dated 1-31-64 and Interim Amendment-1, dated 8-27-64 and GGG-F 451D, dated 11-16-92; and NSN 5180-00-799-8860 with an estimated two year quantity of 48 kits, in accordance with Department of the Navy-Bureau of Weapons drawings and LM-60A65-C dated 7-5-60 (List of Material). This kit is designed to square, deburr, and produce single 37 degree flares conforming to MS33584 on corrosion resisting steel tubing used primarily in the maintenance of aircraft fuel and hydraulic systems. Because this item consist of 85 drawings, to reduce administrative cost, ONLY those firms that are SERIOUSLY interested in bidding are asked to request a copy. The response to the presolicitation is due 1-23-98. The solicitation will issue on or about February 20, 1998. The solicitation will result in a two year contract with three one year options.
