DAAN02) The joint Army/Marine Corps Military Operations in Urban
Terrain Concept Technology Demonstration (MOUT ACTD) program office
hereby invites representatives of industry to participate in the MOUT
ACTD Industry Day on 18 February 1998, from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM, at the
Radisson Twin Towers Hotel in Orlando, Florida. This event will be
held immediately following the AUSA Winter Symposium and Exibition. The
object of the MOUT ACTD Industry Day is to provide an overview of the
MOUT ACTD and its requirements, as well as to continue the
joint-services' search for Non- Developmental Items (NDI), Commercial
Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products, and Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS)
products through direct interaction with our industry partners. The
four (4) functional areas of focus in the MOUT ACTD are: Command,
Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I); Engagement;
Force Protection; and Mobility. Within these four (4) functional areas
there are thirty-two (32) MOUT ACTD requirements, a list of which can
be found at website YORKTOWN.DC.ISX.COM/MOUT. At the Industry Day, the
Army/Marine Corps will be looking for product literature and other
information which can be used to evaluate whether or not a particular
item or concept falls within the MOUT ACTD program requirements.
