This is a modification to the synopsis entitled Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contracts for Atmospheric Remote Sensing Instruments (ARSI), Solicitation No. 1-071-CG.0016 which was posted on November 21, 1997. You are notified that the following changes are made: Interested sources are hereby notified that due to potential changes to the Flight Instrument Component/Subsystem Development section of the Statement of Work, release of the final RFP will be delayed. The current anticipated release date of the final RFP is not currently known and offerors are advised against expending resources toward proposal preparation due to the possibility of changes to the proposal preparation instructions. Potential offerors are invited to continue to submit questions and suggestions for improvement regarding this draft RFP until further notice. Offerors are also encouraged to sign up for the e-mail notification service at the top of the home page in order to be immediately notified when any future modifications or the synopsis for the final RFP are posted. The due date for receipt of questions/suggestions for improvement is extended until further notice. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet and are in Microsoft Office Suite (Word 6.0, Excel 5.0, or PowerPoint 4.0) format and will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
