The solicitation, now in draft form, is for requirements of the GSA Northwest Arctic Region to satisfy needs of federal agencies in the area of ADP facility management, network support, and computer systems support.. The states of WA, ID, and OR are covered by this requirement. This solicitation is a hybrid fixed price and labor hour contract and requires submittal of technical proposals. Typical labor categories include microcomputer specialists, computer operators, data entry operators, and network specialists. Aproximately 350 positions or 700,000 labor hours are estimated annually. This solicitation is available only on the Internet. Requests for hard copies will not be honored. Comments may be made on the structure of the solicitation and questions for clarification may be submitted up to January 31, 1998. The actual solicitation will be issued on or about March 1, 1998. Period of performance for this IDIQ contract shall begin January 1, 1999 for one year with four option years. The draft solicitation may be updated as not all sections have been finalized.
