(Resynopsis) The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport has a requirement for a comprehensive maintenance contract for an installed base of UNISYS ADP system in Newport, RI. Single vendor responsibility is required. Maintenance shall be performed at the modular level. Removal of equipment for service at other locations is not permitted. The contractor must have the technical resources and ability to diagnose and correct complicated and intermittent problems involving a computer system within a complicated network. Examples of equipment to be maintained include: CPU's, disk drives, disk controllers, tape controllers, IUOP controllers, memory upgrades, terminals, card readers, and printers. The base period of performance is expected to be 01 APR 98 -- 31 MAR 99 with two subsequent one-year option periods. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
