(i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii)This solicitation (F1162398T0504) is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii)Federal Acquisition Circular 98-01 effects this solicitation. (iv)This solicitation is set-aside for small businesses, the standard industrial code is 7378 and $18,000,000.00 is the small business standard. (vi)Services, Non-Personal: Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials and transportation to perform trouble shooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance to the commercial interior intrusion detection systems (CIIDS) as defined the Statement of Work (SOW) at Scott AFB, Illinois. Services are to include the troubleshooting and replacement of faulty components, wiring (within the demarcation block), and associated components as further defined in the SOW. Contractor must contact contracting specialist in writing to attain a copy of SOW. Copies will be faxed next work day (0630-1500hrs) request is received.
