solicitation for commercial materials prepared in accordance with the
format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information
included in the notice. Proposals are being requested and a written
solicitation will be issued upon request. This is a request for
quotation (RFQ) number DTCG80-98-Q-3FA781. This solicitation document
will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through
Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45. The standard industrial
classification code is 3731 and the size standard is 1000 employees.
The requirement is for the following: For the Contractor to provide all
tools, equipment, and materials to install new crane on board USCGC
Blackberry (WLI-6530) IS located at Portsmouth, VA. Performance period
starting 06 April 1998. Vessel POC for ship check is BMC Hall or MK1
