The Government prefers a multiple award contact to the Contractor's that can provide both inpatient and outpatient care at the Contractor's facility. Services will be required for a one-year base period, with two-one (1) year option periods for a total of 36 months from the date of award. Only medical facilities within a sixty (60) mile radius from the institution will be utilized for inpatient/outpatient services. The estimated quantities for each period of the contract are as follows: Base period: Inpatient days-200, Outpatient visits-50; Option period one: Inpatient days-200, Outpatient visits-50; Option period two: Inpatient days-250, Outpatient visits-75.
