S -- MAINTENANCE, INSPECTION, OPERATION AND REPAIR OF MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS AT THE GRC SOL 263-98-P(AH)-0009 POC Anthony Revenis, Ph 301-402-3073, FAX 301-402-3407 NIH was forced to terminate the prior contract for the above referenced service and Johnson Controls, of Sparks, Md. was the only firm that had sufficient experience and knowledge of the Gerontology Research Center to provide needed emergency repairs and service. NIH intends to negotiate with Johnson Controls to provide the required services for the remainder of the terminated contract (until 7/31/99). This amount of time will allow NIH to finalize long-range plans for the GRC building and, if continued contract support is required, to conduct a competitive reprocurement. See numbered Note 22.
