It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) to procure professional graphic arts and photographic services. Contractors are required to provide all or part of the representative services listed below: 1) Graphic Arts Services: typesetting; layout; paste-up; illustration; exhibit design and/or exhibit materials preparation; photostats; poster prints; color separations for 4-color printing; mounting exhibits; presentations graphics (slides and vugraphs); computer graphics and imaging; pick-up and delivery; 2) Photographic Service: black & white and color film processing and printing; line negatives; enlargements; print mounting; inter- negatives; direct prints from transparencies; contact sheets; slide and filmstrip duplication; slide graphic services; pick-up and delivery. There is a strict requirement for highly and broadly experienced professional contractors that have consistently demonstrated expertise and a high standard of workmanship in the provision of graphic arts and photographic services. There is also a strict requirement for a timely start and finish of tasks. Multiple awards are anticipated. Contractors are required to have their principle place of business located within 20 miles of the NIH campus in Bethesda, Maryland.
