This project is for the design and construction of a packaged log community activities center of approximately 2700 square feet at New Boston Air Force Station, NH. The principle items of work for the basic bid include, but are not limited to, the relocation of a double wide trailer to a nearby site, design and build a completely finished cabin lodge, connect/establish all plumbing and piping from the existing site (water, electric, septic/sewer, propane and/or oil heat line), provide site work, foundations and flooring, provide and install the log cabin complete with main kitchen appliances, adapt the existing wooden deck to the new structure, and an option for air conditioning. The contract shall be Firm-Fixed Price. The period of performance for the basic bid and option is 120 calendar days. The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. Tentative dates for issuing and receipt of the request for proposal are on or about 06FEB98 and 09MAR98, respectively.
