59 -- SOURCES SOUGHT FOR REPAIR/CALIBRATION OF COMPONENTS OF THE AN/ASN-128 AND AN/ASN-128B DOPPLER NAVIGATION SYSTEMS DUE 020998 POC Patricia Cushion, Logistics Mgr, (732) 532-1192 E-MAIL: CECOM POC, cushion@doim6.monmouth.army.mil. This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for repair/calibration of components of the AN/ASN-128 and AN/ASN-128B Doppler Navigation Systems (NSNs: AN/ASN-128B 5841-01-399-5512, and the RT-1193A 5841-01-318-0654). The components requiring repair are the GPS assembly, and the panel assembly which are part of the AN/ASN-128B. The RT-1193A/ASN-128 requires calibration. The AN/ASN-128B contains proprietary data from GEC Marconi Hazeltine, in support of repairing the GPS Assembly and Front Panel Assembly. The calibration of the RT-1193A/ASN-128 requires special test equipment and proprietary software. Current source of repair for these items is GEC Marconi Hazeltine. A detailed technical data package is not available for these items requiring repair. Companies capable of performing this effort must so indicate by writing to COMMANDER, CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-N-AN (Cushion), Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5007. Companies must demonstrate that they have the capability and required data rights to repair/calibrate the items mentioned above. Companies will be required to warrant that the overhauled/repaired/calibrated systems will perform satisfactorily when used for their intended purpose.
