NASA/SSC intends to purchase the following items from Mac Panel Company -- two(2)each, Receiver-2560 Contact-DP-GLD, P/N 129392; four(4)each, Receiver-3264 Contact-DP-GLD, P/N 129372; four(4)each, 937 PlugBoard, Special SS, P/N 229372-02; one(1)lot, Non-Recurring ArtWork Charge, P/N 99000021; 500 each, Straight Shunt-.250 CRTS-GLD, P/N 408032; one(1)each, Taper Pin Insertion Tool, P/N 413001; 12,000 each, Taper Pin 157-20 GOLD, P/N 423032; 3,000 each, Taper Pin 157-22 GOLD, P/N 423332; 1,000 each, 35" RF-4C Shielded Plugwire, P/N 5001110; four(4)each, MTG. PLT Model 939 24", P/N 939MFP/B-24; and two(2)each, MTG. Face Plate 937 REG 24", P/N 937MFP/B-24. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested firms have 15 days from the publication of this synopsis to submit in writing to the identified point of contact, their qualifications/capabilities. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Interested sources shall submit a proposal to include: prices, availability, warranty, descriptive literature of the offered products, business size, F.O.B. Point and invoice terms. Responses received after 15 days or without the required information will be considered nonresponsive to the synopsis and will not be considered. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice. Proposals may be submitted via facsimile but a hard copy must be received by this office within the 15 day time frame. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed. (0014)
