This telescope would be for space object tracking and astronomical viewing and would be movable. These preliminary specifications for an NRL Telescope are for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a request for proposal (RFP), an Invitation for Bids (IFB), or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any follow on capabilities. The Government does not intend, at this time, to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided. No entitlement or payment of direct costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of submissions of responses.
