SOL DE-RP-65-98-18191 DUE 030498 POC Contact: Paul Hendree, 916-353-4445 Contracting Officer: Janna Buwalda, 916-353-4471 The Sierra Nevada Region (SNR) is seeking the services of 4-6 non destructive test inspectors to perform visual inspection and non destructive testing of weld repairs and steel plate installation on steel structure beam column joints at Olinda and Maxwell Substations. The beam-column joints are located approximately 75 feet above ground level. Inspectors will be provided access to the work site by owner furnished and operated aerial man lifts. Work is scheduled to commence in early April 1998 and continue into May 1998. Work days will be continuous and consist of 10-13 hours in duration, weather contingent. Weekend work is also expected. Olinda and Maxwell Substations are located in Shasta and Colusa counties, respectively, in north-central California. (0014)
