The Department plans to procure contractor services to obtain an Equity Monitoring Agent for ensuring that the value and interest retained by HUD in particular transactions is monitored, addressed and preserved in accordance with the terms of these transactions. The Contractor's principal task is to ensure that the Entity is operated, and the Assets managed in accordance with the terms of the transaction documents so that the FHA receives the maximum recovery. To achieve this objective, the Contractor shall perform cash, financial and asset monitoring and management evaluation and provide results of its findings, analyses, and conclusions in written reports to FHA. The request for proposal (RFP) release date is anticipated to be on or about February 5, 1998.
