The proposed action is to acquire 27 months (15-month basic and 12-month option) of acoustic, infrared (IR), aerodynamic simulation modeling, and related system dispense integration support. This simulation modeling effort must be independent of the BAT prime contractor, Northrop Grumman Corporation and Block II prime contractor, Loral Vought Systems, in order to independently assess and evaluate the progress of the prime contractor. The current contractor, CAS, Inc. is the only source that can provide the support needed during this phase of EMD to ensure Army TACMS Block II/BAT meets scheduled activities.
